Jack Woods is a designer and Technician from Reading, PA
Currently based out of Orlando, Florida, I started my journey into live entertainment and theatre through performance. My passion for learning and growing as a theatrical artist has never stopped. Wanting to expand my horizons, I took a leap of faith and switched my major after only my first semester of college and have hit the ground running ever since. I have worked as a member of tech crews, management crews, and design teams in 28 productions, but have been involved in over 50 productions to date. I have seen live entertainment at all levels and my love for it is always growing. Whether working in small black-box spaces, to large proscenium theaters I am willing to tackle any challenge. I will never turn down an opportunity to create a connection, learn more, and experience something new. I am passionate, patient, willing to learn, and highly motivated! The reason I do what I do is to create an impact. I have seen, firsthand, how much live entertainment, media, live theatre, and the communities surrounding such have shaped and impacted my life. I want to share art and positively impact the human experience, continuing what it has done for me.

Assisting the Technical Director in managing load-ins, strikes, production teams, and general safety. Worked all SRMT season productions, events, galas, and functions managing technical elements. Managed equipment upkeep, equipment loans, purchasing of new equipment, and repairs. Acting as the Sound Designer for all Galas, Performances, Cabarets, and Productions.
Worked within the sound shop, organizing and managing equipment. Carried out daily tasks within the Pittsburgh Playhouse, aided load-ins of touring and university productions, and worked as house crew for productions as a member of the sound team.
